More Awesome Fun!

More years ago than I care to remember, Misha Fradin asked me to be his mentor during his Senior year in High School. Would I share what it’s like to be a professional? I recall him asking. I said, “of course,” and immediately felt badly because I know how little I actually do when being a “professional”. We started meeting every Tuesday during lunch, and before I knew it, this mentorship became a weekly rehearsal on my front lawn – rehearsals of what we all know now as NANDA. At the time, it was just Tomoki Sage and Misha.

NANDA is now four young (well, younger than I) men who perform a unique form of juggling, dance, and ninja play that is indescribably funny, and amazingly entertaining. Their full show, The Jacket, played three weeks in Seattle’s Broadway Performance Hall, and toured the west coast in their Legend’s Tour beginning with a show in Hollywood, California.

NANDA is the closing act (a highly regarded spot) in the final weekend of the Moisture Festival. Get tickets, and see this show. If you tell your friends, and they go, they’ll thank you for the rest of their lives.
